Israeli occupation army carried out day-long military drills near the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip yesterday, Quds Press reported Israeli media saying.

According to the Israeli news website 0404, Israeli occupation forces increased their military training near the Gaza Strip after US President Donald Trump’s announcement that his administration would recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital set off widespread protests both in the occupied territories and across the world.

Six Palestinians have been killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces since Trump’s decision last Wednesday.

For the second night, the Israeli occupation jets carried out airstrikes on several sites in the besieged Gaza Strip.
