Report: Iran officers killed by 'anti-revolutionaries'

Three Iranian intelligence officers were killed in clashes with “anti-revolutionary groups” in western Iran, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported on Wednesday.

Citing a statement issued by Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards Corps, the news agency said the clashes had occurred in the city of Piranshahr.

Since last Thursday, several Iranian cities have seen demonstrations both for and against the Iranian government.
