Kuwait will provide prosthetic limbs to 66 people who were injured in the city of Mosul during Daesh control of the northern city of Iraq.
The Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Erbil, Dr. Omar Al-Kandari, told Kuwait News Agency that this initiative is part of the ‘Kuwait Beside You’ campaign which will oversee medical projects for displaced Iraqis and those affected by military operations to liberate Mosul and from Daesh persecution.
Under the funding of the Kuwaiti Society for Relief, the General Consulate of the State of Kuwait in Erbil supervised the fitting of prosthetics for at least 66 injured people from Mosul in a private hospital in Erbil in cooperation with Ronahee Charity Foundation.
So far a total of 266 people have been treated.
