Emirates to resume direct flights to Tunis

Emirates, the UAE-based airline, is going to resume its daily flights between Dubai and Tunisia following a three-month suspension after a row over a ban on female Tunisian passengers, Anadolu reported on Monday. In a brief statement, the airline said that flights to Tunis will resume on 25 March.

The airline suspended the route in December, when it banned Tunisian women from boarding its aircraft for security reasons.

The Emirates is a government-owned carrier. It is the largest airline in the Middle East and flies to 157 destinations in 84 countries from its base at Dubai International Airport.
