The investigation is focused on allegations that Bezeq Israel Telecom broadcast positive coverage of Netanyahu and his wife Sarah in return for millions of dollars worth of regulatory changes.

Channel 2 reported that Netanyahu’s former media advisor Nir Hevetz would give information about Netanyahu, his wife and his son in relation to their involvement in security violations.

Hevetz has accepted to become a state witness and so he can reveal information about Netanyahu in return for not being imprisoned or fined.
