The Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA) mourns the death of Wael Abu Helal, a member of its General Secretariat who passed away in London today, Tuesday, aged 58. Sources close to the organisation said the deceased suffered a brain haemorrhage.
Abu Helal dedicated his life to serving the Palestinian cause. In addition to being a member of the PCPA General Secretariat, he also served as Director General of Al-Quds Satellite Channel and the founding director of Tamouh Centre for Studies, Consultancy and Training.
He also authored a number of articles, research papers and studies related to the Palestinian cause.
