Saudi Arabia pays $40m to the Palestinian Authority

The Saudi Development Fund has paid $40m to the Palestinian Authority (PA) ministry of finance in support of the PA budget, the Saudi newspaper Okaz reported yesterday.

The permanent Saudi representative at the Arab League said that this payment covered the dues of the Kingdom reserved for February and March 2018 – $20m for each month.

Saudi Arabia pays $20m monthly to the PA budget.

The Kingdom’s representative to the Arab League reiterated that his country would continuously support the Palestinian cause on a political, economic and humanitarian basis.
