Arab-Israeli Intelligence meeting in Aqaba to discuss the 'Deal of the Century'

A French periodical has confirmed that Arab Intelligence directors recently met with their Israeli counterparts, under US auspices, in the southern Jordanian city of Aqaba to discuss US President Donald Trump’s settlement plan in the Middle East, the so-called “Deal of the Century”.

Intelligence Online mentioned that the meeting, which was held on the third day of Eid Al-Fitr on June 17, brought together Mossad Director Yossi Cohen, Saudi Intelligence Director, Khalid Al-Humaidan, Egyptian Intelligence Director, Abbas Kamel, Jordanian Intelligence Director, Adnan Al-Jundi, as well as Palestinian Intelligence Director, Majid Faraj, was under the auspices of Jared Kushner, Trump’s Senior Advisor.

The periodical pointed out that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Amman a day after the meeting and met Jordanian King Abdullah II.

Intelligence Online  predicted that the meeting had discussed pushing forward the “Deal of the Century”.

It also pointed out that there have been close undeclared relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia for years. It referred in this context to the meeting of former Mossad Director Meir Dagan and his Saudi counterpart. The French periodical added that Ehud Olmert, Former Israeli Prime Minister at that time, had met with Prince Bandar bin Sultan in Jordan, who was then Saudi Intelligence Director and Head of the National Security Council.
