Tunisian teachers protest inclusion of 'state of Israel' in exams

Tunisian school teachers in the central city of Kasserine refused to mark the general secondary exam papers for geography and history because of a question in which “the state of Israel” was mentioned.

Dozens of teachers at the 2018 general secondary examination correction centres protested the inclusion of Israel, demanding that it be identified as an occupying power over the Palestinian people.
