Palestinian Mufti Mohammed Hussein said yesterday that facilitating the enemy’s ownership of Palestinian land, including Jerusalem, is haram, Quds Press reported.

This came as Israel attempts to pass a bill that allowed Jews to own Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

“Palestinian land is Islamic endowment and it is haram to sell it or facilitate the enemy to own it,” he said, noting that “anyone who sells his land to the enemy or receives compensation for this is a sinner.”

He also said that doing these deeds leads to apostacy and the doer of such actions is a “traitor”.

The Mufti called for people to boycott anyone who sells his land to the Zionists or facilitates such sales.
