Saddam Hussein’s daughter denies commenting on Iraqi protests

The daughter of the late Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has denied comments attributed to her which escalated protests in the southern Iraqi cities and incited attacks on pro-Iranian parties.

Raghad Hussein said yesterday that there are several fictitious accounts bearing her name on social media which have absolutely no relation to her. The comments were published on Twitter.

She reiterated that she did not make any statements about the protests in the southern Iraqi cities.
