Abdullah, the son of slain Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, arrived in Washington on Saturday.
“A number of Arab journalists and media are trying to meet Abdullah; to support him in prosecuting the Saudi authorities,” a Washington-based news source told Al-Khaleej Online news site.
Sources also revealed that the Khashoggi’s family has hired the largest US law firm to file a lawsuit against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and his team in America, Arabi21 news site reported.
According to the sources, three of Khashoggi’s sons travelled from the UAE to the United States and met with senior members of the US Senate and House of Representatives.

Abdullah has previously called for the formation of an urgent, independent and impartial commission of inquiry to investigate the circumstances of his father’s disappearance and the conflicting news about his death.
Saudi Arabia officially admitted on Saturday that Khashoggi was killed in what they said was a fight inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 2 October.
The Saudi announcement came 18 days after Khashoggi entered the kingdom’s consulate and never left.
However, Turkey says it has evidence that Khashoggi was killed and “dismembered” inside the consulate.
Khashoggi lived in self-imposed exile in the US and was a columnist for the Washington Post.
