Saudi dissident Prince, Khalid bin Farhan said a Saudi opposition political group abroad will be launched next month under the name of “the Freedom Movement for the Sons of the Arabian Peninsula”.
Farhan wrote on Twitter that the movement has many goals including helping Saudi men and women obtain political asylum in Europe as well as contribute to liberating them from injustice, oppression and humiliation.
The dissident prince said the movement also aims to “stop the criminal war and barbarian invasion in Yemen, Syria and Libya and consolidate the ties of love and fraternity among all the Arab countries”.
He added that the political movement will work to “establish a free civil constitution that guarantees equality among citizens and non-discrimination regardless of religion, race, colour or sex … as well as establish a political system that enables the people to truly participate in power and wealth in Saudi Arabia”.
