Two bomb-laden vehicles exploded on Monday in opposition-held parts of Syria’s Idlib, killing 15 and injuring 79, according to civil-defense officials, reports Anadolu Agency.

Both explosions occurred in Idlib’s Kusur district, Mustafa Haj Yussef, director of the White Helmets civil-defense agency, said.

“After our people arrived at the scene following the first blast, a second car bomb went off in the same area,” he told Anadolu Agency, adding that three White Helmets responders had been among the victims.

According to Haj Yussef, buildings and vehicles near the blast site were severely damaged by the twin explosions.
