Egyptian opposition factions are to organise demonstrations in the US and seven other countries against execution sentences carried out by the Egyptian regime.

The demonstrations will condemn the “politicised” executions which are being carried out without “just trials,” Arab 21 reported.

Mustafa Al-Dasougi, an Egyptian opposition activist in the US, told Arab 21 that the demonstrations plan to start in front of the White House in Washington DC, while at the same time similar demonstrations will take place across seven different countries.

The aim of the demonstrations, Al-Dasougi said, is to condemn the executions and “mock trials” carried out by the regime of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in Egypt.
