The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Sunday slammed the US-Israeli team which started drawing maps for the annexation of the occupied West Bank, a statement revealed.

According to the statement which was reported by Anadolu Agency, the PA minister of foreign affairs and expatriates announced that the formation of this team is: “Persistent on the aggression against Palestinian rights.”

In addition, the statement disclosed: “This proves that the US administration underestimates all the international resolutions and stances which rejected the ‘Deal of the Century’.”

The ministry emphasised that the “Deal of the Century” does not lead to peace, nor will it achieve stability in the region.

“The announcement of the team reflects the depth of the partnership between the US president, Donald Trump, and the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.”

Netanyahu: We will turn West Bank into integral part of Israel

The statement also elaborates that this reflects the size of the “conspiracy” against the Palestinian cause, targeted by the “Deal of the Century”, which is being carried out by “Zionist hands”.

“We are looking with great concern at this provocative and aggressive measure,” the statement informed. “We will deal with it as an integral part of the ominous ‘Deal of the Century’ and an extension to the occupation plans to finalise the issue of the final status unilaterally.”

The ministry highlighted that the Israeli annexation of the West Bank: “Creates an apartheid regime in the occupied Palestine and cancels all the signed deals between the Palestinians and the Israelis.”
