Israeli occupation forces yesterday confiscated a prefabricated classroom belonging to Susiya School in the east of Yatta town in occupied Hebron.

According to local sources, Israeli troops stormed Khirbet Susiya in the east of Yatta, raided the school and appropriated a prefabricated structure used as a classroom, the Palestinian Information Centre reported.

Occupation forces also assaulted a number of local residents and detained one of them after beating him.

About a month ago, the school administration was handed a notice ordering it to stop developing its playground. A bulldozer and a digger were confiscated from the site.

The school is composed of 15 classrooms and provides education for dozens of local students in Masafer Yatta cluster.
