Nine Palestinians were killed when a fire Thursday tore through the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Anadolu Agency reports.

Fifty-eight victims were injured, including 14 who are in critical condition.

Among the dead were four children and three women.

The Interior Ministry said civil defense and police managed to control the fire which caused major damage.
