Oil revenues in Libya rose to record levels in June, reaching around $2.13 billion.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that June’s net revenues from sales of crude oil, gas, condensates, petroleum products and petrochemicals reached record levels, driven by increased demand for oil and a surge in global oil prices.

Crude oil revenues amounted to about $2.6 billion, while gas and condensate revenues amounted to about $66.2 million.

The NOC also achieved revenues from petrochemicals reaching around $2.6 million, in addition to €3.2 million ($3.86 million).

The NOC explained that the available refined petroleum products were entirely directed at the local market.

Last May, the revenues of crude oil and fuel derivatives in Libya were estimated at $1.39 billion.
