Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said yesterday that the window for dialogue to revive the 2015 nuclear agreement will not remain open forever.
Khatibzadeh added that Tehran will participate in the talks and urged the US administration to come to Vienna with a practical and realistic programme, and to fully implement its commitments according to the nuclear agreement which will help revive the agreement.
He also urged Washington not to adopt the policies of the administration of former US President Donald Trump.
“The Vienna talks should guarantee the supreme interests of Iran and the Iranian people, which the United States had rejected, and Europe had practically ignored,” Khatibzadeh said, explaining that the government of President Ibrahim Raisi is willing to resume the Vienna negotiations.

Earlier, Raisi said that his country does not oppose the negotiations over its nuclear programme provided that they are useful and lead to the lifting of sanctions.
This came during a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday.
For his part, Macron is reported to have expressed his hope for the resumption of nuclear negotiations in Vienna with the participation of Iran.
The United States and European Union countries are calling on Tehran to immediately resume the Vienna talks, which were suspended last June after six rounds of negotiations due to the Iranian presidential elections.
