Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesperson, on Friday, said that the release of US hostages from Gaza comes “after many days of continuous communication” with all parties, Reuters reports.

Hamas has released two US hostages from Gaza – a mother and her daughter – “for humanitarian reasons” in response to Qatari mediation efforts in the war with Israel, its spokesman Abu Ubaida said on Friday.

Qatar hopes dialogue will lead to the “release of all civilian hostages from every nationality,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed Al-Ansari, added.
