Armed with placards and banners, the activists are calling on the UK government to use its international influence to advocate for peace and humanitarian relief to Gaza’s 2.2 million people who have been subjected to a brutal 16-year long siege and heavy and sustained Israeli bombardment since the surprise attack by Hamas on 7 October 2023.
