Leader of Yemen’s Houthi group, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, said yesterday the group is prepared for any possible aggression by the United States and Israel against the country, stressing that the group continues to support Palestinians in Gaza during  the ongoing genocide.

“The Yemeni front continues to support and position itself towards Gaza, and has not submitted or retreated despite the American, Israeli and British pressure and aggression,” Al-Houthi said in a televised address.

“We are on a practical path preparing for any level of escalation that the United States and Israel may resort to,” he added, explaining that the group has continued to carry out naval operations against Israeli-owned and Israel bound ships in addition to striking Israel with missiles and drones.

“At the height of the battle and amid the terrible Zionist crimes, our front is present, ongoing and effective,” he added.

Since earlier this year, the US-led coalition has been launching strikes against Houthi sites in Yemen in retaliation for their solidarity with Gaza, where Israel has killed and wounded more than 143,000 Palestinians, the vast majority women and children.
