Algeria president: Gaza faces full-scale genocide

Gaza is experiencing a full-scale genocide, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has said, stressing the importance of reaching a ceasefire.

During a press conference with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in Cairo, Tebboune said: “I have come to Egypt on a friendly, brotherly visit to coordinate and consult with my brother, President AL-Sisi.”

Tebboune added: “Egypt has been a steadfast supporter of all nations striving to free themselves from colonialism.”

“Egypt supported Algeria and was a bearer of the torch of Arab nationalism for all countries striving for national independence,” confirming that “the relations between the two countries are excellent, and there is complete understanding and a desire for cooperation and new investments,” he continued.
