The US is apparently planning to establish a military presence for its ally, the YPG (the Syrian branch of the PKK) terrorists, in northern Syria where the terrorists have been imprisoned by the Turkiye-led Syrian National Army (SNA) since the ouster of Bashar Assad’s regime, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reports.

US forces “brought in a convoy of 50 trucks carrying cement blocks to Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)-controlled areas in north-eastern Syria,” the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) wrote Thursday morning.

The pro-SDF North Press media outlet said the US army has been emptying a base in nearby Iraq, and the concrete blocks and other equipment are being exported to Ain Al-Arab for a Syrian base.

Ankara says the YPG/PKK is on par with Daesh and should have no presence in the new Syria, Turkish daily, Daily Sabah, reports.

Last week, Syria’s new leader, Ahmad Al-Sharaa, vowed that his administration would stop the PKK/YPG terrorist group from using Syria as a base for its operations.
