The Israeli occupation forces have forced about 9,000 Palestinians to flee from the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, north of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of the aggression against it, and completely destroyed its infrastructure, Quds Press has reported.

Occupation forces sent additional military reinforcements to the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, and deployed infantry squads in the streets and neighbourhoods, while continuing to raid and search Palestinian homes, vandalise and destroy their contents, and even empty them, turning them into military barracks.

They have also imposed a tight siege on Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, preventing entry or exit from them, and obstructing the work of relief crews while trying to deliver food and essential supplies to residents who remained in their homes in some of the camps’ neighbourhoods.

Israeli occupation forces are continuing their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 29th consecutive day, and on the Nur Shams camp for the 16th day, amid their military escalation and widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes across the occupied West Bank.
