A security officer from Hamas’s security body has revealed details about a spy working for Israel who was gathering information during last month’s prisoner exchange ceremony, according to Quds Press.

A statement released yesterday via the Al-Haras platform, the media outlet for the resistance’s security body, confirmed that the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, had directed the spy to surveil prisoner exchange sites. His tasks included collecting information on technical and security arrangements, identifying key figures involved in the exchanges, and noting the types of military equipment present.

The platform also noted that further details about the spy’s case and confessions would be published in the coming days.
