Settlers seize a house near Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron

A group of Israeli settlers seized a Palestinian owned house located near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron on Thursday, according to Safa news.

Sources told the news agency that a group of settlers ran to the house of Palestinian citizen Fawwaz Qfeisha and broke into the property.

The settlers were reportedly accompanied by children and had brought water and blankets with them.

The sources added that Israeli soldiers provided security for the settlers as they seized the property.

Following the incident, Israeli forces closed the Abu Arish military checkpoint that leads to Ibrahimi Mosque.
