Nimir – Killed by Israel ‘by accident’ - laid to rest

A 27-year-old Palestinian man, Mustafa Nimir, who was shot dead by Israeli police last Monday has been buried by family and friends in the Anata village cemetery, in the West Bank, Quds News Agency reported.

Israeli police killed Nimir, after he had been out shopping for food and baby clothes. The police who were conducting a raid on the camp initially stated that Nimir’s car had tried to ram them. However, this story was refuted the next day when Nimir’s family was informed that he had been killed “by accident“.

Since then Israeli forces have sought to shift the blame Nimir’s brother-in-law, Ali, who was driving the car.
