A member of the Saudi royal family told protesters that Al Saud is not to blame for the situation in Yemen and Bahrain and they should take up their grievances with “those responsible”.
Stopping to speak to protesters in London, Prince Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud asked: “What’s the fault of the entire Al Saud family? Perhaps only certain individuals are responsible.”
Adding that the officials in question are “the king and the crown prince”.

Protesters highlighted the war in Yemen which Saudi entered in 2015 and which has resulted in the death of over 15,000 civilians and led to millions suffering from malnutrition as a result.
In response, the prince said: “I wish the war in Yemen would stop today, not tomorrow.”
Another protestor called for putting an end to “oppression in Bahrain” with the prince replying, “God willing”.
