The Israeli occupation has directed a Palestinian citizen from the refugee camp of Shu’fat, east of occupied Jerusalem, to demolish his four-story house, Shehab News Agency reported on Friday.
The news agency reported that two floors of the demolished house were inhabited and two were under construction.
The owner of the house, Tariq Mohamed Ali, disclosed that he received a stop-work and demolition notice from the Israeli Supreme Court a week ago.
The notice ordered the family, according to Shehab News Agency, to demolish their house, otherwise, the Israeli occupation would demolish it and instruct the family to pay for the expenses.

Ali confirmed that the family was obliged to hire a bulldozer in order avoid paying very high demolition expenses to the Israeli occupation.
He revealed that the Israeli occupation ordered the demolition of the house because it was overlooking the illegal Israeli settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev.
It is worth noting that the refugee camp of Shu’fat is surrounded by illegal Israeli settlements and the Israeli apartheid wall.
