Fatah yesterday reaffirmed that it blames Hamas for the series of coordinated bomb blasts that targeted the homes of its leadership in Gaza on Friday, the Anadolu Agency said.
In a signed statement, the head of Fatah’s National Relations Central Committee Azzam Al-Ahmad insulted Hamas and accused it of putting obstacles in the way of internal reconciliation.
He said that the 15 bombs targeted the houses of Fatah leaders and the statements left at the scene singed with ISIS proves that Hamas does not want to end the internal division.
Following the bombings, Fatah cancelled celebration to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of late Fatah Leader Yasser Arafat which was due to take place in Gaza.
Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah also cancelled a planned visit to the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian MP, from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Qais Abu-Laila said this afternoon that the incidents in Gaza would postpone planned the convention of the Palestinian Legislative Council and the continuation of reconciliation meetings.
It is not known how the indirect Palestinian-Israeli talks would be carried out as the Palestinian delegation comprises members of both Fatah and Hamas.
