Layan, a seventh-grade child living in displacement camps in Rafah, expresses her fear of hearing planes overhead. She waits anxiously without a school, which was destroyed in the Israeli bombing, and she is unsure about the whereabouts of her friends since the war started. Layan confided in Mohammed Asad, a correspondent for Memo, about how she misses her house, which was burned by Israeli tank shells.
