Syed Iftikhar Hussain Gilani, 81, noted author and political activist, served as Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Law.  He was born in Pakistan.  Elected to Parliament in 1988, he served as Federal Minister for Law in the first government of Benazir Bhutto.
