Prof. Salman Sayyid

The writer is the author of ‘Recalling the Caliphate’ and Professor of Decolonial Thought and Rhetoric at the University of Leeds. Sayyid is also the founding editor of an interdisciplinary journal ReOrient. His major publications also include ‘A Fundamental Fear’ – a book which despite being banned by the Malaysian government is now in its third edition, and ‘Thinking Through Islamophobia’.
