Rima Kattaneh Nazzal

Palestinian political activist Rima Nazzal lives in Ramallah and is a member of the Palestinian National Council and the General Secretariat of the General Union of Palestinian Women. The Israeli occupation forces exiled her from Palestine in 1969, and she returned 27 years later in 1996. Her father’s family comes from the forcibly depopulated village of Lifta on the western outskirts of Jerusalem.
