Ismailia Criminal Court yesterday adjourned the trial of Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie and 104 other defendants in the case of storming the Ismailia governorate office, Rassd reported.

The trial was adjourned to 16 September.

Badie and the other 104 defendants are accused of storming the governorate’s office, threatening public safety, gathering to commit crimes against people and property, killing and affecting the work of officials.

However, media reports at the time of the alleged crime show that the Egyptian security forces stormed a peaceful protest in support of ousted President Mohammed Morsi in the area and forcefully dispersed those taking part, killed some and wounding scores more demonstrators.
