Twenty five people were killed and scores injured by a bomb attack carried out by the Syrian air force in an opposition-held neighbourhood of Aleppo, according to opposition sources.
At least 25 people were killed and another 40 wounded when regime warplanes dropped a massive bomb on a crowded market in the northern city, sources said.
The injured have since been brought to Aleppo’s Sahra Hospital for treatment.
According to hospital officials, most of those injured are in a serious condition.
Local activist Mervan Salim said the casualties from the attack included a number of women and children.
