Israel blows up family home of killed Palestinian

Israeli forces blew up the family home of 19-year-old Palestinian Omar Abu Leila, who was killed over an alleged attack near the illegal Israeli settlement of Ariel, in the occupied West Bank district of Salfit.

Israeli rights groups have criticised home demolitions as acts of collective punishment which are a violation of international law. Israel’s Supreme Court has largely upheld the demolition policy.
