The Israel occupation forces demolished two homes in Jerusalem this morning, the Palestinian Information Centre has reported. Local sources said that one of the homes belonged to Jerusalemite Fares Salah Al-Din, while the other, which was still under construction, belonged to fellow Jerusalemite Habis Ali. The occupation forces also bulldozed many olive trees during the demolition operation.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops used bulldozers to demolish a commercial store in Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem. The store belonged to Muhammad al-Halhouli, and was demolished on the pretext that he did not have a licence to build the property. Building licences are very rarely approved for Palestinians in the occupied city.
The occupation forces closed the road leading to the demolished store and prevented citizens from access to the area.
