Palestinian journalist Tamer al-Mishal from Al Jazeera attended a special session at the Italian Parliament to present the network’s investigation into the killing of Palestinian child Hind Rajab. The report, titled The Pursued, was part of the programme Ma Khafi A‘zam (What is Hidden is Greater).
The session, held at the parliament building in Rome, was attended by MPs, human rights activists, journalists, and campaigners, who discussed the findings of the investigation and the circumstances it revealed.
Al-Mishal shared on X: “Honoured to attend at the invitation of the Italian Parliament to present Al Jazeera’s investigation in Ma Khafi A‘zam on the killing of martyr Hind Rajab #ThePursued, in the presence of parliamentarians, human rights activists, and journalists, and to discuss the investigation’s results and the challenges faced by Palestinian journalists in the face of threats, incitement, and targeting.”
In late October, Al Jazeera released an in-depth investigative report including a leaked document naming around 30,000 Israeli soldiers alleged to be involved in what the network described as “genocide” in the Gaza Strip.
