The chief of the Turkish General Staff, Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, met with his Saudi counterpart, Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, on Thursday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The Turkish Ministry of Defence said Bayraktaroglu travelled to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to attend a high-level military dialogue meeting.
According to a post on the ministry’s official Nsocial platform, Al-Ruwaili welcomed Bayraktaroglu with a military ceremony in Riyadh.
The two sides held both a bilateral meeting and an expanded session with their delegations.
The ministry added that the final report of the high-level military dialogue between the two countries was signed at the conclusion of the talks.
