Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis), said his group is in full coordination with resistance movements regarding developments in Lebanon and Palestine.

Speaking on Thursday, al-Houthi said the group remains committed to what he described as a Quranic position towards the threats facing the Muslim nation under what he called the project of “Greater Israel and the reshaping of the Middle East”.

He said the group’s position is clear regarding what he described as “the crimes, tyranny and aggression of the Zionist entity against our Islamic nation in Palestine, Lebanon and Iran, its aggression against our Yemeni people, and its violations in Syria”.

Al-Houthi also urged regional powers and actors to be wary of what he called “American attempts to drag them into fighting in service of the Zionist enemy”.

He added that the United States is seeking to push forces and groups in the region towards entering “a comprehensive battle in service of the Zionist Jews”.
