Gaza’s resistance security forces said on Tuesday they had arrested several people they claim were working as agents for groups cooperating with Israel. The detainees are accused of planning sabotage and committing crimes inside the Gaza Strip.

According to local media quoting the security sources, the suspects admitted during questioning that they had tried to create chaos and lure police officers into specific areas to target them.

Preliminary investigations reportedly revealed plots against resistance members and security leaders. Authorities said investigations are ongoing.

The sources added that available information points to plans for further sabotage, which they said Israel had attempted to carry out through these cells.

Security forces said they had seized weapons and other equipment from the detainees and that operations continue to remove potential threats and maintain internal security in Gaza.
