A senior Hamas delegation has arrived in Cairo to continue talks on forming a broad electoral alliance ahead of Palestinian legislative elections scheduled for November 28, informed Palestinian sources told Quds Press on Wednesday.

The sources said discussions are currently focused on the technical details of a proposed electoral list, including its composition, the allocation of seats and representation among participating parties, as well as potential candidates and the final format of the list.

Contacts are also underway with several Palestinian factions, political groups and figures over potentially expanding the alliance to include additional parties, the sources said. Discussions are continuing over the form of participation in the elections and the structure of the electoral list.
