Israeli forces demolished two homes belonging to Palestinian prisoners in the occupied West Bank town of Beita, south of Nablus, on Wednesday, using heavy explosives to detonate one structure and a bulldozer to flatten the other, according to local officials.
Israeli troops entered the village and ordered the families of Ibrahim Abdulkerim Davud and Zakaria Muhammed Davud to evacuate their residences prior to the demolitions, local sources reported. Davud’s house was blown up using explosives, while Zakaria Davud’s house was demolished with a bulldozer.

The two men have been held in Israeli custody since January following their arrest on suspicion of carrying out a shooting attack targeting Israeli soldiers.
The developments come amid escalating Israeli army attacks and occupier violence against Palestinians across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since Israel launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023.
