Davutoglu to discuss Syria in Tehran next week

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit Iran next week to participate in an international meeting that would address the Syrian crisis; a Turkish diplomatic source said on Monday.


The Turkish Minister is scheduled to join on 26 and 27 of November the Council of Ministers meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization; a regional body comprising ten Asian and Eurasian countries.

In addition to the Syrian crisis; Davutoglu will meet with Iranian officials; on the sidelines of the ECO meeting to discuss political relations, economic ties as well as the Iranian controversial nuclear program file.
