Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina pray for Egypt martyrs

Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia performed funeral prayers in absentia for Egyptian martyrs who were killed by the Egyptian military.

The prayer was performed at mosques on Friday August 16 2013, upon instructions from the Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hussein Cavazovic. Cavazovic said in a press statement:

“I call upon all imams in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnian communities to perform funeral prayers in absentia for Egypt’s martyrs, who were killed by the military authority, during the mass protests that followed the overthrow of the democratically elected President of Egypt.”
