Western envoys tell Syrian opposition about military strike

Western envoys have already told Syria’s National Coalition opposition that a military strike will take place “within days”, sources close to the meetings in Istanbul between the two groups have claimed.

“The opposition was clearly informed that the move to prevent the Assad regime from using chemical weapons again may happen within the next few days,” said the sources. “At the same time, the opposition must be prepared for peace talks in Geneva.”
