Egyptian military court sentences 11 members of Muslim Brotherhood to life imprisonment

An Egyptian military court convened in Suez city has today, Tuesday, sentenced 11 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to life imprisonment. 45 others were sentenced to five years each.

Observers following the case noted that the severity of the sentences confirms that the military-led authorities have no intention of pursuing any form of national reconciliation through dialogue to resolve Egypt’s current political crisis.
